Rich, minty vegan hot chocolate! Made completely in a saucepan on the stove and topped with mini marshmallows, whipped cream and crushed peppermint!
For the Hot Chocolate
2 1/2 c nondairy milk
1/2 c nondairy chocolate chips
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp peppermint extract
For Serving (all optional)
nondairy whipped cream
crushed peppermint
*Serve hot chocolate immediately after preparation.
*When melting the chocolate, do not keep the stove burner on for any longer than necessary. Remove pan from heat the moment all of the chocolate is melted or you will end up having to wait a long time for the hot chocolate to cool!
