Best Ever Guacamole

This Guacamole doesn’t just talk the talk. It lives up to its name in every way and will, without a doubt, be the best guacamole you have ever had the pleasure to consume.



4 ripe avocados

juice of 1 lime

1/2 c onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 jalapeño, minced

1 roma tomato, diced

1/2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp black pepper


  1. Mash the Avocados: In a large bowl, mash avocados until desired guacamole consistency is reached. I like a smooth guacamole with a few chunks of avocado remaining. Add lime juice to mashed avocados and mix thoroughly to prevent browning.
  2. Prepare the Guac: Add onion, garlic, jalapeño, tomato, chili powder, sea salt, and pepper to the bowl and stir until ingredients are evenly distributed. Cover with plastic wrap, taking care to press wrap right up against the guacamole to prevent air from leaking inside. Let chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.


*Guacamole is best when served the day it was prepared but can keep for a day or two properly sealed with plastic wrap in the refrigerator. The wrap should be touching the guacamole to ensure no air can get to it.
